Watershed Management

EDI provides a wide variety of watershed management services related to development activities, watershed condition and restoration opportunities, including:

  • Watershed assessments to document landscape level disturbances and determine hydrologic recovery
  • Sediment source surveys to locate and assess mass wasting occurrences and determine their impact on the aquatic environment
  • Riparian condition assessments with respect to stream bank stability, large woody debris input and fish habitat
  • Riparian Areas Regulation (RAR) Assessments
  • Assessments of channel condition to determine impacts from natural or human-induced occurrences, and to provide direction for rehabilitation activities
  • Stream crossing surveys to locate and determine sediment sources and impediments to channel processes and fish passage
  • Habitat mitigation, compensation and rehabilitation prescriptions
  • Environmental monitoring and auditing, including air and water quality monitoring
  • Environmental permitting and approvals
