research projects to promote better understanding of terrestrial
and aquatic ecosystems.

- Watershed-based approaches to community planning
- Post-fire re-vegetation of linear disturbances
- Community energy baseline studies
- Water quality analyses
- Stable isotope analysis for assessment of marine
derived nutrient transport
- Aquatic invertebrate studies
- Effects of clearcut logging on invertebrate
drift, fine particulate and dissolved organic matter from headwater
streams
- Operational forestry research
These projects have been conducted in affiliation
with academic institutions, First Nations, government departments,
and industry partners.
