EDI
is a private, employee-owned western Canadian company incorporated
in 1994, with offices in Vancouver, BC, Prince George, BC, Whitehorse
YT, and Grande Prairie, AB. We are dedicated to providing professional
biological and environmental planning services for clients in
the private sector, municipal governments, regional districts,
federal, provincial, and territorial agencies and First Nations
in British Columbia, Yukon and Alberta.

Our staff includes fisheries biologists, wildlife biologists,
environmental planners, ecologists, agrologists, geomorphologists,
environmental engineers and geographic information system (GIS)
specialists. Various staff members are affiliated with the College
of Applied Biology of BC, Association of Professional Biologists
of BC, BC Institute of Agrologists, Association of Professional
Engineers and Geoscientists, the International Erosion Control
Association and the Planning Institute of BC. EDI also maintains
co-operative associations with other reputable individuals (i.e.,
archaeologists, hydrologists, engineers, etc.), educational institutions,
First Nations groups and firms in order to provide a broad suite
of services for our clients.
Through our network of offices, this diversity and breadth of
experience allows us to take a multidisciplinary, team-based approach
to the design and implementation of natural resource management
and environmental planning projects.
