EDI employs a multidisciplinary team of specialists and professionals dedicated to providing an integrated approach to environmental projects.

Our team includes:

  • Fisheries biologists with extensive experience in fish habitat assessment, fish enumeration and distribution, habitat mitigation/compensation, habitat restoration, and environmental assessment (EA), as well as a diversity of research projects.

  • Wildlife biologists experienced in the assessment and evaluation of wildlife and their habitats. Experience in the capture, marking and relocation of waterfowl and mammals (small and large) through the use of aerial and ground based radio-telemetry and satellite telemetry techniques. Assessment of development activities on wildlife and wildlife habitat.

  • Foresters experienced in operational forestry and silviculture.

  • Geomorphologists with technical expertise in stream/river channel processes and erosion/sediment control planning.

  • Ecosystem specialists experienced in both terrestrial and aquatic ecology.

  • Planners with experience in both urban and natural resource settings.

  • Project Managers with intimate knowledge of applicable legislation related to development projects and activities. Our Project Managers ensure that projects are carried-out in an efficient manner through communication and liaison with government approval agencies.

  • Geomatics specialists with expertise in database management, vector and raster-based GIS, differentially corrected GPS, and mapping.

  • Technical writers and editors experienced in the production of high quality professional reports, which meet both client and regulatory agency requirements.

  • Environmental engineers with technical expertise in Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, stormwater management and environmental auditing.

    EDI maintains a network of highly qualified specialist sub-contractors, which allows us to provide a broad suite of services for our clients.
